Our Sessions

Not A Statistic North East sessions are published on our Facebook page however, a brief run down of what to expect is below, along with a list showing this year and next years sessions.

SESSIONS

  • Open to anyone over 16 years old, Any gender, Any race, Any religion and Any situation.
  • Last up to 2 hours.
  • Grab a Tea or Coffee and a biscuit.
  • Find a seat.
  • First 15-30 minutes - Intros, brief catch up.
  • Next 90ish minutes will be a facilitator led conversation around the past week and the next week.
  • Finally, we will ask you to complete a anonymous feedback questionnaire. These help us show potential sponsors/funders how our sessions are performing.

 

  • Spread the word about Not A Statistic NE.
  • No politics / No Religion.
  • Be respectful, Give others time to talk.
  • You don't need to share if you don't feel ready.
  • What's said in the room, stays in the room. (The only time we will break this rule is if we are worried about you or someone else. See our Safeguarding policy.)

Beacon Of Light 

- Room 2, Stadium Way, Sunderland.

 

When - Thursdays 7pm-9pm.

  • Parking - available in both Blue and Red Stadium of light carparks.
  • Metro - A short walk from both St. Peter's and Stadium of light Metro stations.
  • Bus - Multiple bus routes travel past the Stadium check local operators for details.

Houghton-Le-Spring

The Old Rectory 

- The Broadway, Houghton-Le-Spring, Sunderland.

 

When - Tuesdays 7pm-9pm.

  • Parking - available in the Old Rectory carpark.
  • Metro - Metro connections via bus are available in Sunderland and Gateshead.
  • Bus - Multiple bus routes travel past the Old Rectory i.e. Go Northeast - X1 and 20, check local operators for details.

Washington

Washington Millennium Centre

- The Oval, Concord, Washington.

 

When - Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm.

  • Parking - available in the Millennium Centre carpark.
  • Metro - Metro connections via bus are available in Sunderland and Gateshead.
  • Bus - Multiple bus routes connect to Concord Bus Station, only 6 minutes walk from Washington Millennium Centre.
