At Not A Statistic North East(NAS-NE), we understand how difficult it is for people going through life's ups and downs to find a space where they can build connections with others who understand what they’re experiencing.
Not A Statistic-NE was created to help individuals find a safe space to access peer to peer support with a free tea or coffee, biscuits and some laughs along the way. See the Sessions page for more details.
THE PLAN
At present we are starting with a fortnightly group session in Sunderland. We hope to build a good foundation group to Increase sessions to weekly. With plans of starting group sessions in Washington, Houghton and Durham.
The aim of each session is to provide a safe space for conversation and to allow people to a discuss their week. Along with facilitator led signposting to local/national resources which may be helpful to attendees.
